So when a Client suffered a major fire affecting their premises and consequent business interruption, we were on site from day-one we then worked closely with the Client and Insurer's Loss Adjuster to negotiate a settlement of £4.2m. On another case involving a serious fire affecting the Client's production facility, we negotiated a settlement of £800,000 within 10 weeks of the loss.
On a disputed Products Liability claim we worked hand-in-hand with the Client, all the way to an eventual mediation at which settlement was achieved at less than 10% of the potential £1.5m value. Following review of a Public Liability claim which the Insurer wanted to settle at £150,000, we identified and then secured the necessary evidence which has enabled the successful redirection of the claim onto a third party.
Following a very minor impact on a motor claim, where 5 personal injury claims were received along with exaggerated damage and hire claims, we obtained formal statement evidence from the Client's driver and an independent witness to support the initial CabPak evidence, which has enabled Insurers to repudiate all the claims. And on another motor case our in-house Fraud Investigator alerted Insurers to a number of inconsistencies in the evidence of a purported witness, which has ultimately led to Proceedings being defended and the claims withdrawn.
